| China has stepped into a new stage.On the one hand,we are now in the decisive period of completing the building of a well-off society in an all-round way.On the other hand,the main contradiction of our society has changed.Local governments at all levels should take the initiative to adapt to this change in the management of regional affairs,especially economic affairs.After many years of development,although Xiangzhou District of Xiangyang City has made great achievements,there are still many problems in its industry.This paper attempts to use the theories and research tools of economics to analyze the current state of the industrial structure of Xiangzhou,and figure out the problems in it,thereby put forward optimization strategies.Firstly,this paper uses the national economic data of recent years in Xiangzhou to judge the industrialization level of the region based on four indicators,namely the three industrial structures,the per capita GDP,the employment structure,and the urbanization rate.It is found that Xiangzhou is in the medium-term of industrialization.Then,using the Industrial Structure Change Rate Comparison Model and the Industrial Structure Change Coefficient Model,this paper carries out a dynamic analysis of the industrial structure in Xiangzhou.It's showed that the change rate and the change trend of the industrial structure in Xiangzhou are different from those in Hubei Province and China.At present,the primary industry is developing stably,and the secondary industry is the leading industry in the region,in addition the tertiary industry has or will soon become the leading industry.To study the innovation capability of Xiangzhou,the author uses intensity index of R&D investment and find the innovation capability of Xiangzhou needs to be improved,compared to Hubei Province,China and Shanghai City.Then employing the Data Envelopment Analysis to analyze the static and dynamic efficiency of the primary industry(crop farming)as well as the dynamic efficiency of the secondary industry in XiangZhou.The results indicate that technique is the main factor restricting the development of the primary and second industry,and the scale efficiency of the primary and secondary industries needs to be improved.Xiangzhou ought to take measures to enhance the primary and secondary industry's technological level and optimize their production scale.Besides,this paper sorts out the distribution and classification of significant enterprises of service industry in Xiangzhou,it suggests that the service industry in the region is unevenly distributed,and the development of the tertiary industry is at a low level,'and the service forms are not rich enough.Based on the findings above,this paper proposes that Xiangzhou should keep up consolidating the development basis of agriculture,give play to the supporting role of basic industries and manufacturing industries,encourage and cultivate high-tech industries,diversify the development of service industries,and shape into an industrial structure with further amalgamation.This paper provides the optimization strategies for the three industries in Xiangzhou,and proposes optimizing paths of key industries within each industry. |
