The purpose of the project is to afford a clear and comprehensive overview of our business idea,not only as part of the IMBA final assessment but also because we strongly believe that it is worthy of devoting our effort and time for launching it in the market.For many consumers,package delivery is a constant hassle.If we are not at home when a carrier shows up,our purchase is either left vulnerable on the doorstep or held elsewhere for pick up.Hence,the design concept concerns a smart mailbox is able to communicate with its owner for the management and automatic reception of home deliveries.The founders are confident that such idea may have success because you are witnessing a constant rising of online shopping with also the presence of new e-commerce platforms,therefore,it is a real need to provide a hassle-free delivery experience to the consumers,especially in Italy,the marketplace where we will launch the product,wherein currently the traditional last-mile delivery companies are experimenting new alternatives in order to reduce the human-intensive activities,constantly under pressure for the labor cost increases,therefore a product such as myMailbox,the smart mailbox,produced by myMailbox-Italia might meet both needs.The best customer experience possible and contextually to be a product that does not need high human support.In accord with our data,the amount of the potential market in whole Italy is of 7.8 million of potential customers.Financially,and according to our assessment,the project is profitable only considering the production of Lockers Model.The payback period is 4 years,and the ROI will be of 1.86.So,our advice is to start this project as soon as possible.
