With the quick development of social economy and the increasingly complex market environment in china,the research on human capital diversity has become an inevitable issue for economic growth.Nature,human society and the individual are the whole,and many problems need to be solved by combining various experiences and knowledge.In the context of the low overall level of human capital and the continuous decline of the total labor force,the effective utilization of the comprehensive advantages due to human capital diversity is the key to promote scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading.At the same time,the research about the relationship between human capital and economic growth mainly focused on human capital and human capital structure on the impact of economic growth,and lacks research based on human capital diversity.Based on those,this paper defined human capital diversity innovatively,and sort out the theoretical mechanism of human capital diversity acting on economic growth.Furthermore,we did some empirical analysis of the relationship between diversity of human capital and economic growth by macro and micro data,and eventually gave reasonable suggestions.Human capital refers to condense on laborer the knowledge,skills and their ability to show.At first,this paper based on the connotation of the core,combined with the idea that different 'qualitive' human capital contributes differently to economic growth.So this paper defines human capital diversity as: Human capital diversity refers to individual experience differences in knowledge,ability and skills,as a result of the discrepancy in individual itself and its information acquisition and processing power.Then we used management theory to analyze the micro-mechanism of human capital diversity's influence on economic growth :(1)The high-level team theory proposed that the diversity of the high-level team promoted the growth of corporate performance by improving strategic decision-making.(2)Information decision theory holds that differentiated background groups promote innovation by integrating multiple cognitive resources to promote corporate performance growth.(3)Legitimacy system theory indicates that the rationality of team combination enhances the external resource acquisition ability of enterprises.Thus it promotes the growth of corporate performance.Then this article uses structuralist economic ideas to illustratesthe effect of human capital diversity on economic growth,though the macro mechanism:(1)Human capital diversity promotes economic growth by promoting technological innovation.(2)Human capital diversity promotes economic growth by promoting industrial structure upgrading.In this article,we further use the panel data from 14 listed Banks in 2006-2015,and the panle provincial data from 14 provinces in 1998-2014 to research the relationship between human capital diversification and economic growth.And it turns out that:(1)Executive team's human capital diversity(based on the education level variety)is directly related to the performance of the enterprise.(2)Human capital diversity(based on the diversity of disciplines)plays a positive role in promoting economic growth.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical conclusions of this paper,we put forward relevant policies and suggestions for improving the level of human capital diversity to promote economic growth :(1)The government should encourage and support the professional setting and development of colleges and universities,especially to support the development of "niche majors" and weak subjects.(2)Colleges and universities should coordinate the construction of disciplines,attach importance to the construction of scientific and technological groups,and increase the strength of the cultivation of talents by using the science and technology group,so as to realize collaborative innovation among multi-disciplinary subjects with the help of "interdisciplinary" and "inter-agency".(3)The enterprise should absorb various professional talents,enrich the discipline and professional background of employees,and advocate cross-disciplinary collaboration among multi-disciplinary staff.
