Study On The Spatial Spillover And Difference Of China's Tourism Industry To Economic Growth

With the further development of the tourism industry,various provinces have known that tourism development has strong drive for tourist resources,infrastructure construct,employment of labor population and economic growth,and treat Promoting the development of tourism as one of the important strategies for economic growth,that is,The effects of the tourism industry in the national economy and social development are also highly valued.However,we find that there is obvious spatial imbalance in the development of tourism and national economy,and the spatial distribution pattern of tourism is similar to the spatial distribution pattern of economic development.Therefore,studying the spatial distribution pattern of tourism economy,analyzing spatial distribution pattern of tourism,studying the spatial spillover of tourism industry to economic growth and defining the contribution of provinces' tourism to economic growth are of great significance.In this paper,we use quartile map to show the regional imbalance of tourism,use Geoda and Arcgis to analyze exploratory data of tourism related data in China in order to prove the existence of spatial dependence and spatial heterogeneity of tourism development.Based on The New Economic Growth Theory,we calculate the spatial spillover effects of domestic tourism economy and inbound tourism economy and economic growth,and we use single index spatial econometric analysis and multi index measurement to build Spatial Dubin Model(SDM).Finally,a geographically weighted regression(GWR)is established to calculate the different contribution of tourism industry to economic growth in various provinces.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,there is a strong spatial autocorrelation in the development of the tourism industry,and the high growth of the eastern coastal areas and the low growth of the western regions have been formed in the space,that is,the spatial polarization phenomenon is obvious,and this spatial agglomeration may aggravate the imbalance between economic growth and tourism economic development.Second,domestic tourism and inbound tourism have significant promotion and positive spatial spillover to economic growth.However,by comparing 2005-2008 and 2009-2012,we can find that the occurrence of financial crisis has a great impact on the economic growth effect of inbound tourism,resulting in a negative effect on the economic growth and spatial spillover.Third,compare adding control variables to Spatial econometric model of panel data and ignore them,we can find that After joining the control variables,the estimation coefficient of domestic tourism and inbound tourism obvioously decrease.It explains that other control variables play an interference and multi index analysis results are more reliable.In other words,if we ignore other factors when we study on the impact of tourism on economic growth,the contribution of domestic tourism and inbound tourism to economic growth will be exaggerated.Fourth,the spatial spillover effect of domestic tourism and inbound tourism is less than the direct effect,that is,domestic tourism and inbound tourism in promoting other provinces' economic growth is less than that of local economic growth through spatial feedback.Fifth,in the geographically weighted regression mode,domestic tourism,inbound tourism and material input are all tested,and these goodness of fit are all good.From the dimension of domestic tourism,what contribute to economic most is the western region,such as Xinjiang,Tibet,Qinghai,Gansu,Ningxia,Inner Mongolia,and the development of the tourism industry in these areas can promote economic growth more;The second contribution is the eastern region,such as Beijing,Tianjin,Guangdong,Jiang and Shanghai,and contribute to economic by economically developed areas to growth is not as great as we expected.From the perspective of inbound tourism,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Beijing and Shanghai have great contribution to the economic growth,while the elasticity coefficient of the western region is very tiny,and a part of the reason is that the current inbound tourism base in the western region is very poor.This article tries to innovate from the following two aspects:First,when exploring the spatial spillover effect of tourism on economic growth,this paper analyze two models,one with influencing factors and one without the influencing factors,and try to prove that the results of inclusion factors are more practical.Second,considering that there maybe some differences between the interaction of domestic tourism with economic growth and the interaction of inbound tourism with economic growth,and their impacts and contributions to economic growth are also different.Therefore,this paper chooses constructs models for domestic tourism and inbound tourism partly in order to improve the scientificity of the results.
