The electronic information and communication industry is a basic,strategic,and leading industry for the national economy.It plays an important supporting role in China's economic transformation and upgrading.The electronic communication and manufacturing industry is the core industry that provides infrastructure for the electronic information and communication industry.The development of electronic communications and manufacturing has played an important role in the successful implementation of China's manufacturing industry such as the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries and the implementation of the "China Manufacturing 2025" national strategy.From the 1980 s,China's electronic communication and manufacturing industry entered a stage of rapid development.In the simulation and follow-up of advanced models and products in the Western countries' information revolution,many scientific and technological achievements in China's electronic communication manufacturing industry are constantly emerging.Some achievements have been made.Walking is in the forefront of the world.However,while we see achievements,we should also see deficiencies.On the one hand,as far as the current situation is concerned,China has not taken a leading position in the R&D and manufacture of electronic communication equipment.The electronic communication manufacturing industry in developed countries is still stronger than our country in general.On the other hand,due to the country's electronic communication in recent years the preferential policies of the manufacturing industry led to the rapid expansion of the scale of the electronics manufacturing industry in China.At the same time,there was a phenomenon that the efficiency of resource utilization was not high and the rate of technological progress was relatively low.In order to fully study the development of China's electronic communications manufacturing industry in recent years,especially in view of its technical progress and efficiency improvement in terms of quality,we must fully understand the overall level of total factor productivity of China's electronic communications manufacturing industry.Analyze the changes in the total factor productivity of China's electronic communication manufacturing industry and analyze the factors that influence the growth of total factor productivity.The first part of this paper introduces the literature on economic growth,the literature on total factor productivity,and the literature on electronic communications and manufacturing.On the basis of summarizing predecessors' researches,the paper proposes research methods and ideas for total factor productivity of total factor productivity,and clarifies the innovation of the article.The second part expounds the development status of China's electronic communication manufacturing industry,summarizes the development achievements of electronic communication manufacturing industry,studies the challenges and opportunities faced by China's electronic communication manufacturing industry,and analyzes the shortcomings of China's electronic communication manufacturing industry.The third part is the empirical part.We first obtained the total factor productivity of China's electronic communication manufacturing industry through data selection and model setting,and conducted statistical descriptive statistical analysis on it.Using Marques decomposition,the total factor productivity growth of the electronic communication manufacturing industry was studied.The fourth part is to study the influencing factors of total factor productivity in China's electronic communication manufacturing industry.Through regression analysis of panel data,we study the impact of economic conditions,economic structure,factor endowments,R&D investment,and property rights system on China's electronic communication manufacturing industry.It takes the basis for providing suggestions for the manufacturing industry of China's electronic communications industry.The fifth part summarizes the research conclusions of the full text,and provides policy recommendations for the improvement of total factor productivity of China's electronic communication manufacturing industry.
