Nowadays,there are lots of management problems of post-90 employees,such as frequent job-hopping,hard to adapt to teams.These problems reflect the fact that career adaptability of post-90 employees needs to be improved.Career adaptability can help those who come across difficulties adjust themselves.This paper bases on explanatory style theory to study the relationship between explanatory style and career adaptability.This paper divides explanatory style into three dimensions and divides career adaptability into four dimensions.Results of empirical research are a s follows:(1)explanatory style and career adaptability of post-90 employees have significant positive correlation.(2)Ps G,Ps B and PmG have a positive correlation with career concern;PmB,PvG and PvB have no significant correlation with career concern.(3)Ps G,PmG and PvG have a positive correlation with career control,whereas PmB has a negative correlation with career control,Ps B and PvB have no significant correlation with career control.(4)PsG,PmG and PvG have a positive correlation with career curiosity,PsB,PmB and PvB have no significant correlation with career curiosity.(5)PsG and PmG have a positive correlation with career confidence,PsB and PvB have a negative correlation with career confidence,PmB and PvG have no significant correlation with career confidence.This paper renders some advice for our society,organizations and individuals.For society,explanatory style should be promoted to make more people optimistic so as to contribute to the construction of socialism with C hinese characteristics.For organizations,this paper gives advice bout EAP,recruiting,employee training,talent development and enterprise culture development,such as applying employee assistance program pertinently,designing affluent work content,and employee training of mental health,career plan etc.These methods can make human resource perfect,establish people-oriented enterprise culture,improve job satisfaction of post-90 employees,help enterprise alleviate contradictions with post-90 employees and eventually achieve a win-win situation.For individuals,this paper suggests that they should improve optimism through the theory of explanatory style to adapt to mutable environment of society and work.
