In recent years,with the steady development of poverty alleviation work,the rural poverty situation in the western region of China has been significantly improved,and extreme poverty is gradually declining.However,the poverty alleviation and immigration in the western region still faces many problems and challenges.How do the immigrants adapt?The changes brought about by the relocation? How should the poverty status of immigrants in the adaptation period be measured? How can immigrate people get rid of poverty in the new resettlement area? These are questions that we need to think about.Therefore,we must conduct more in-depth studies on the poverty conditions of the poverty alleviation and resettlement population in the western region,consider the problem of poverty in the adaptation period from a multidimensional perspective,and provide a theoretical basis for practical work so that the government can better formulate Targeted poverty alleviation policies.This article takes the adaptation period of the poverty-stricken immigrants in the western region as the research object.First,through combing and summarizing existing literature,combining theoretical basis and practical investigation,it attempts to analyze the current characteristics of the adaptation period of the poverty-stricken immigrants in the western region,and reveals from the perspective of economics.The formation mechanism of immigrants' poverty in adaptation period.Secondly,based on the household survey data from four resettlement sites in Guizhou Province,this paper measures the multi-dimensional poverty status of resettlement areas from the five dimensions of income,education,medical care,living conditions,and development guarantee using the AF multidimensional poverty measurement method.A comparative analysis of the dynamics of immigrants before and after resettlement shows that there are multi-dimensional poverty outside of income before and after resettlement for resettlement in the western region,but compared with pre-relocation,the multi-dimensional poverty after resettlement has obviously improved,for example,When the dimension is equal to 3,the incidence of three-dimensional poverty has dropped from 99.46% to 49.46%.The three-dimensional poverty index has dropped from 0.5332 to 0.1496.Finally,by decomposing the multidimensional poverty index of each dimension,we find: before and after resettlement,the resettlement The factors causing poverty are very different.Before resettlement,they were mainly affected by living conditions and income.After resettlement,they were mainly affected by skills training,employment opportunities,and network relationships.Through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper proposes the following policy recommendations for the poverty-forming factors of the poverty alleviation and resettlement population in the western region: update the concept of immigration and change the migration ideas;strengthen immigration skills training and increase industrial development;integrate multi-social resources,To realize the marketization of resettlement areas;establish mutual assistance organizations to help immigrants achieve social integration.tion.
