Study On The Changes Of Beijing Citizen Public Space And Public Life

The citizen public space of the city,as a symbol of local culture,is the most important stage for carrying people's public life,and the most influential space for the people's life.The old Beijing Bathhouse,closely related to the residents' daily life and urban culture,is a kind of market space closest to the people's lives.As Beijing Old Bathhouse is selected to be the research object,and through the historical research and current status observation of this microscopic public space and public life,This article'thoroughly explore the transition of Beijing City's citizen space and life in historical transformation.As a unique economic cultural phenomenon and social spatial form in the process of social development,Beijing traditional old bathhouses reflect to some extent the development of urban economy and the rise and fall of civic life.At present,the society pay more and more attention to the protection of cultural heritage.However,the citizen space cultural heritage,which should have received pretty attention,such as the Beijing Old Bathhouse-a small space with local cultural characteristics,but has not attracted attention.This article selects Beijing old bathhouse as an observation object for urban public space and public life,and through the longitudinal combing of its history of transition,explores its own distinctive objects and forms,analyzes the age attributes,and explores its close ties with city development and the citizens' livelihood,Through field researching on the existing two hundred-year-old brands,arranging their development trajectories,the article compares the business strategies and operating conditions of two old brands;and further observing the changes of the old Beijing bathhouse from a social and spatial perspective,the article analyzes and refines the cultural value,social value,and sentiment of this traditional public space.Finally,discusses and analyzes the Contemporary value of this traditional public space,proposes a revival strategy.It is hoped that this article will provide a positive contribution to the heritage and revival of Beijing's traditional citizen public space and public life.
