Research On The Construction Of New Type Think Tank In Sichuan

Think tank,as a source of ideological innovation in a country or region,is an important manifestation of its soft power.It plays an increasingly important role in promoting social and economic development and assisting international affairs.Thus,the construction of a high level and international think tank has become a trend of globalization.Currently,the development of think tank in western countries is relatively mature,while the construction of think tank in China has made great achievements in thinking,producing results and talents,and gradually formed a pluralistic development pattern of governmental think-tank,CASS think tanks,universities and non-governmental think tank.In recent years,the Central Committee of CPC has put forward the strategic goal of building a new-type think tank with Chinese characteristics,which puts forward a new direction for the construction of a new type of think tank.The construction of new think tanks in Sichuan has achieved good development.The working system has been gradually standardized and the operational mechanism has been gradually improved,which have made important contributions in serving the party and government's public decision-making.While,we have to realize the fact that,at present the overall level of the think tanks is not high enough and there is no real ideological tank in our country,especially below the provincial level.In fact,most agencies still stay in the stage of explaining and perfecting the decisions made by the party committee and government officials,and lack independent thinking and forward-looking suggestions.Overall,there are still many shortcomings in China's think tanks such as capital administration,enlightenment wisdom,attracting talents,and auxiliary diplomacy.The think tanks in Sichuan also have outstanding problems and weak links in terms of institutional mechanisms,development environment,human resources,and financial support.The construction of new think tanks still has a long way to go.Based on this,through the study of think tank theory at home and abroad and in accordance with the Central Government's strategic requirements for building a new-type of think tank with Chinese characteristics and in close connection with Sichuan's reality,a brief discussion was made on the construction of a new type of think tank in Sichuan in this article.This article tries to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of further expediting the development of new think tanks in the critical period of a good beginning of the construction and development of think tanks in Sichuan,and Further enhancing the influence of new think tanks on public policy and provide strong intellectual support for the scientific decision-making of the government.The basic conclusion of this article is that,at present,the construction of the new think in Sichuan has very good basic conditions for organization,scientific research,and talents.It is necessary to improve the core competes of the think tank.by gradually improving the development system of Sichuan's new think tanks,by continuously deepening the reform of the management system,by accelerating the improvement of the safeguard system for the development of think tanks,by creating a favorable environment for development,and by enhancing the capacity building of Sichuan's new think tanks,Sichuan's new think tanks can truly become the driving force for the construction and development of Sichuan and promote the long-term development of Sichuan's new think tanks.
