With the development of economic globalization, the world economy has gradually transited to service economy, and productive service trade has acted as the core in service trade field, which plays a more and more prominent role in the international market and the status of a country's economy. As emerging economies in the developing countries, the brics countries have similar markets, population and resource environments.Although the world economy is dominated by the developed countries,as the representative of emerging economies, the brics are improving the domestic trade environment.Through the comparative study on productive service trade' present developing situation and the competitiveness, seeking to improve the brics countries' especially China's productive service trade scale and structure and reduce the deficit,so as to promote its development and improve the measures and its international competitiveness, has important practical significance.By studying the paper,we finds that as a whole, the brics' productive service trade scale and growth have expanded unceasingly, but the industry structure is unreasonable;Meanwhile, there is a certain gap between the five countries.China has a large import and export volume of productive services in the five countries, followed by India, but China also shows a large deficit. In addition, productive service trade of the brics countries has similarity in terms of industry structure,in knowledge and technology intensive industries such as financial, insurance, patent fee and royalty services emerging comparative disadvantage, and except India,in computer and information services the other four countries' industry disadvantage being obvious; Finally,by comparing the productive service trade competitiveness in different countries and industries,as well as empirically researching the affecting factors,we finds that the higher education enrollment, service trade openness, foreign direct investment, per capita national income, trade in goods exports, and gross domestic product have different impacts on the productive service trade competitiveness. On the basis of above analysis, this article puts forward the corresponding policy recommendations from three levels:at the macro level,we should increase human capital investment, expand the service trade openness and increase the service efficiency of foreign capital;at the industry level,we should strengthen industrial structure optimization, attach importance to industrial structure adjustment and improve the quality of production factors;at the micro level,we should improve enterprise brand strategy, improve staff professional quality and draw lessons from foreign advanced management experience, from the development of enterprise' competitiveness to the improvement of country's productive service trade' competitiveness.
