The Internet prototype was born in 1969 and it has been more than half a century.With the development and popularization of the Internet,the Internet,as a structural force,has constantly changed all aspects of the political,economic,and social life of the entire world.Since the birth of the Internet,the research on the Internet has not stopped.In recent years,the integration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence,big data,and the Internet of Things has made people pay more attention to the Internet,and the future of the Internet is also full of curiosity and expectation.What might the Internet look like in the future?Perhaps we can learn from the history of the development of the Internet.From APRANTET to the Internet,from military to commercial use,from computing machines to artificial intelligence,is the development of the Internet an irregular movement driven by accidental factors,or is there a clear evolution path and the inherent development logic that can be detected?If we can explore the logic of the evolution of the Internet,then we can help us to predict the future.This article focuses on the issue of whether the evolution of the Internet has inherent logic.It is based on the qualitative research of literature and industry data.First of all,this paper describes the current situation and impact of Internet development,and introduces the background and significance of the research.Subsequently,in view of the evolution and development trend of the Internet,this paper proposes a research hypothesis that the evolution of the Internet is inherently logical.The core of the Internet is the "person." The evolution of the Internet is the evolution of the relationship between people and networks.This logic runs through The evolution path of the Internet will continue.From this perspective,this paper divides the process and characteristics of the current evolution of the Internet into the following three stages:The first stage is the connection between people and the network.It is called "connected network" and is characterized by people and networks.The connection is gradually strengthened,including the "terminal network" formed by the connection between the connected devices and the "relationship network" formed by the connection between people;the second phase of the connection between the human and the network is from shallow to deep,which is called "service network".It is characterized by the fact that the Internet satisfies the need for people to migrate to the network,including the "content network" formed by online migration and the "converged network" formed by offline migration;the third phase is more closely related to the Internet,and the network utilizes intelligent technologies as human resources.The improvement of service level is called "intelligent network",which is characterized by the improvement of the degree of intelligence of the Internet and the deepening of integration with people.In the process of the evolution of the Internet,the three stages are not isolated from each other and are not separated from each other,nor are they linearly evolving,but are progressive evolution.The depth of the relationship between people and the network,the changes of the four-seeds network interaction,and the three important driving factors of technological development,changes in demand,and capital strength during the evolution process have jointly determined the evolution path and future direction of the Internet.The Internet will follow this direction and form a giant intelligent network with all things and terminals and technology as a service.It is inextricably linked with human beings.
