Research On Evaluation Of R&D Capability Of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry In Hebei Province

With the continuous increase in the number of people in the world and the aging of the population,the demand for pharmaceutical products by consumers continues to increase.As a result,the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry will have greater room for development in the future.At present,Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is still dominated by imitation,research and development of patented drugs are mainly concentrated in European and American countries,so the industrial R&D capability needs to be improved.Hebei Province is an economic and populous province that plays an important role in the country's economic development.The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry plays a very important role in industrial development in Hebei Province and is one of its pillar industries.Therefore,under the background of innovation-driven development policies and efforts to seek innovative drugs,this article explores the development status of R&D capabilities of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Hebei Province by establishing an evaluation system for R&D capabilities of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,combined with the current development status of Hebei's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and limited resources.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the factors influencing the development of R&D capabilities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Based on the scholars' research on R&D capability evaluation system,the R&D capability evaluation system for pharmaceutical manufacturing is established.By sorting out related literature,first,this article defines the scope of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and the concept of R&D capabilities,and describes the relevant theories supporting this article and the currently widely applied evaluation methods for research and development capabilities.Secondly,this article describes the development of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Hebei province,introduces the R&D policy environment in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Hebei Province and compares the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D capabilities in Hebei Province with other provinces and cities in terms of R&D environment,R&D investment,and R&D output.Finally,the paper uses factor analysis to compare horizontally the research and development capabilities of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Hebei Province with the pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D capabilities of 20 provinces after removing incomplete data and presents a longitudinal comparative study of the pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D capabilities in Hebei Province from 2009 to 2016.This article proposes relevant countermeasures for improving the research and development capabilities of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Hebei Province and summarizes the conclusions of the study,and points out the lack of research in this article.The conclusion of this paper through research is: The overall R&D capability of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Hebei Province is not strong and it is in the midstream position.The pharmaceutical R&D investment in Hebei's pharmaceutical industry is relatively low,which is far from the highest R&D investment in Shandong Province.In addition,investment in R&D in Hebei's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry fluctuated significantly from 2009 to 2016,and unstable R&D investment will hinder the continuous improvement of R&D capabilities.Regarding R&D output,Hebei Province's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry has relatively good profit and output,but knowledge output is relatively weak.In the future development,it is necessary to increase the protection of intellectual property rights.
