Mind Mapping And Image Aided Memory Analysis

Nowadays,people are living in an era which contains too much information.In order to deal with this tremendous amount of information,we have to be able to fast response.That's why more and more people starts to talk about Data Visualization,which we all believe,is a more efficient way for collecting information.This paper targets on the Mind-Mapping Theory and analyze the basic rules that helps user remembering information.Based on the theory of cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology in cognitive process,this paper makes a systematic research on all the three visualization elements of mind mapping(Curve connection line,Space distribution and the use of images)and analyzes their memory aided function.Results indicate that,the using of curve lines,logical space distribution and images is very helpful for people in information collection.And the findings of this paper can be a ground rules for future information visualization design.
