Study On The Influence Of Effectuation,resource Integration Process On International Entrepreneurial Performance

Under the tide of economic globalization,the topic of international entrepreneurship has attracted more and more attention.Many scholars have gained rich research results.In the field of academic research,people tend to not only focus on international entrepreneurship,but also study rapidly developing international new ventures.International new ventures have little experience and have limited resources.In the study of Sarasvathy(2001),it is believed that effectuation are more applicable for international new ventures,and they take the means to create more possibilities according to the existing means.For international new ventures,resources are essential in the development.The effective use of resources can make enterprises more competitive in the international market.According to the resource integration process study of Brush(2001)and Sirmon,Hitt and Ireland(2007),under the research of the mature enterprise the process of resource integration is divided into 4 steps.It follows causation,and effectuation is not taken into account.However,a lot of international new ventures follow effectuation,so this article is to verify what is the resource integration process for the enterprises which are follow effectuation? Is it consistent with the traditional resource integration process? What are the processes of resource integration that will play an important role in the international entrepreneurship performance?Based on the theory of effectuation,this paper study the relationship between effectuation,resource integration process and international entrepreneurial performance.First,through literature review,we analyze the existing research results in the field of effectuation,resource integration process and international entrepreneurship performance,and lay the theoretical foundation.According to the actual needs,this paper give the definition of effectuation,resource integration process and international entrepreneurial performance.This study leads to the measurement of effectuation from four aspects: experimentation,loss affordability,flexibility and prior commitment.Resource integration process is studied from the two aspects of resource identification and acquisition,and resource allocation and leverage.The measurement standard of international entrepreneurship performance selections are international entrepreneurship financial performance and international entrepreneurship non-financial performance.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between effectuation,resource integration process and international entrepreneurship performance,as well as the mediating role of resource integration process between effectuation and international entrepreneurship performance.Through the study,we found that the four dimensions of effectuation including experimentation,loss affordability,flexibility and prior commitment have an important impact on higher performance of international new ventures.The two process of resource integration process,resource identification and acquisition,and resource allocation and leverage also play an important role in the management of enterprises.And the resource allocation and leverage process for international new ventures should be optimized continuously.In addition,allocation and leverage plays an intermediary role between effectuation and international entrepreneurship performance.The research of this paper has two main contributions: first,it reveals the important influence of international new ventures following effectuation logic,and provides the basis for the application of international new ventures in practice.Second,the model of resource integration process under effectuation is verified,and the difference in the resource integration process from causation logic is clearly defined.It also points out that the international new ventures should pay more attention to resource allocation and leverage in the resource integration process.
