Study On The Contribution Of Industrial Demonstration Area To Regional Economic Growth

In order to balance the economic development of the Midwest,grasp the future trend of industrial transfer,China has gradually approved the establishment of a national demonstration area industries to relocate from 2010.Until 2017,China has approved the establishment of the 10 batch of industrial demonstration zone,areas involved in the Western 11 provinces(municipalities),28 cities set up 10 national industrial demonstration zone.It should be said that the national industrial demonstration zone has become an important national strategy for regional development,the effect gradually,therefore,this paper selects the national industrial demonstration zone as the main body,through the industry to undertake the transfer of the literature found to undertake development of industrial transfer;at the same time,as an important national policy,whether industrial demonstration areas are helpful to regional economic growth needs test.Therefore,this paper collects panel data of 295 cities in 2000-2015 years,and verifies the influence of national level industrial demonstration area on regional economic growth by Difference in Differences Method.The research shows that the establishment of the national level industrial demonstration area can significantly promote the growth of per capita GDP in the region,and the conclusion is still established under strict and robust test.Further analysis shows that the influence of the national level industrial demonstration area on economic growth is in line with the "diminishing marginal effect" rule,and the driving force for the relatively better economic development and better natural endowments is less than that with weak economic foundation and no obvious natural endowments.The main breakthrough of this paper lies in: firstly,Difference in Differences Method is introduced to the economic effect of industrial transfer demonstration area measure,by controlling the time of occurrence of area effect and policy effect,the paper can effectively overcome the deviation of literature evaluation results,and through strict inspection steady recognition to u the net contribution of industrial demonstration area to regional economic growth.Secondly,making use of the statistical data of the national level cities in the past 2000-2015 years,the sample capacity has increased substantially,and the relatively scientific method has been used to make the conclusion of the evaluation more scientific and effective.Third,we carefully screened the impact of the national level industrial demonstration area on the effect of different initial endowments,and the driving effect of the national level industrial demonstration area on the regional economic growth showed a "diminishing marginal effect" rule.This shows that before large-scale industrial undertaking is coming,we can promote regional economic growth and reduce regional development gap through rational layout and careful guidance.The conclusion can provide a reference for expanding the strategy of national undertaking industrial demonstration area,balancing the regional development better and grasping the trend of industrial transfer in the future.
