The Research Of Building Up Accounts Payable Shared Service Center For M Multinational Corporation

With the impact of information explosion and the in-depth development of economic globalization in recent years,more and more large enterprises and Multinational Corporations benefit by the Financial Shared Services model.In the past 30 years of development,Shared Service concept and its practice conforms to the trend of the financial reform.It helps enterprises to overcome their cost and management difficulties,and reduce the risk of operation and financial problems.Therefore,Multinational Corporation and large enterprise groups support departments to use the shared service model actively and treat it as a key solution to enhance their competitive advantage.As an important project services,Accounts payable shared service plays a strong role in economies of scale and becomes the most common programs in FSSC.Basing on Financial Shared Services theory and Accounts Payable management theory,this thesis takes a probe into the multinational corporation angle and proposes management views and practices in AP management.It covers the systematical summarize on the concepts and characteristics of AP and Financial Shared Service and introduces the current development status in China.This thesis chooses M Multinational Corporation as a case study.The author elaborates the M Multinational Corporation organization structure,business products and the current supplier management mode and analyses the other existing issues of AP management on the basis of the traditional mode.The author expounds the necessity and feasibility on the Shared Service model in M company,and constructs the Accounts Payable Shared Service Center theory from operation model,organization change,process design,internal control and quality management factors.Then the author implements the security of accounts payable shared service center by proposing three improving methods:the computer information,staff training and change management.
