A Study On Finance Share Service Optimization

Finance Share Service has been a hot topic over the past decade,it was turned out by some researches and cases that reasonable designed and well performed finance share service model would support companies in cost deduction,increasing internal control level and enhancing finance capability in supporting core business.Based on that,numbers of MNCs and big companies have been started to launch share service model in Finance Function.Despite of those positive impacts mentioned above,share service risks have also been disclosed and risks controls methods have been introduced in the meantime.Researches show that some principles should be followed in Finance Share Service launch,which are:·Guided by Strategy·Focus on six key elements·Change and risk management2016 was proved to be the key year to YUM! China,which has been split from YUM!Global and listed in NYSE in Nov,on the other hand,it was the year that Finance Share Service,including payment process,has been carried out through out YUM! China.Unfortunately,payment process launch did not provide positive impact on daily business and Finance Function,but,instead,hindered them in some degree.Under such background,the author tried to focus on how mismatching of six elements would hurt YUM China's payment process and the way to optimize and would be appreciated if the research would benefit others.The paper is consist of 3 portions:Portion 1(Chapter 1-2),mainly demonstrates the related theories of finance share service as well as the overview of the paper;Portion 2(Chapter 3-6)is the main part,which contains introduction of YUM China,company history,business strategy going forward,challenges to Finance Department,reasons to launch payment share service in 2016 and the issues encountered immediately;An analysis has been conducted on the root cause of the issues and the plan to optimize.Portion 3(Chapter 7)is the conclusion,which reveals the effects of optimization and also gives some thoughts of Finance share service model that generated from the study.
