With the diversification of products and management globalization, thesize of enterprise was constantly being enlarged. Its internal processes havebecome more complicated and hard to control. The operating costs andquality of service department, which was ignored for a long time, drew themanagement’s attention in recent years. More and more enterprises built upshare service center (thereafter mentioned as “SSC”) to converge andstreamline business functions as a way of cost saving and processstandardization, in finance, HR, IT and other functions.By the instance of building finance SSC in L Company, this thesis hasoverviewed the reasons of building SSC, detailed processes and encounteredproblems, as well as analyzed the results and benefits. This thesis hasdiscovered that enterprises can achieve cost saving, process standardizationand high-quality management information by setting up finance SSC. Thisstudy can provide some instruction and reference for enterprises to buildfinance SSC.
