An Empirical Study On The Poverty Reduction Effect Of Economic Growth In Ethnic Regions

Poverty is a worldwide problem that is prevalent in developing countries.Eliminating and alleviating poverty to promoting the all-round development,progress and prosperity of human society is the common pursuit of the international community.It is also an incumbent historical duty of the Chinese Communist Party and all levels of government.In the process of social development,long-term rapid economic growth is the most fundamental and most important source of power to overcome poverty.China's economic growth has provided a solid economic base for alleviating rural poverty and made a significant contribution to the drastic reduction of the poor.China's reform and opening up since 1978,due to sustained and rapid economic growth,China's large-scale poverty reduction effect is remarkable.The incidence of rural poverty dropped from 30.7% in 1978 to 14.9% in 2014,and the problem of food and clothing for the poor was basically solved.However,the poverty reduction effect of economic growth has been weakened in recent years,that is,the rate of poverty reduction is lower than the rate of economic growth.Then,for the problem of poverty is more severe,remote areas,traffic congestion,resource plaque lack of ecological environment deterioration of economic development slow out of poverty more difficult areas of ethnic areas,economic growth,whether there is further room for poverty reduction,the need for further analysis.First of all,based on the existing research,this paper summarizes the poverty reduction mechanism of economic growth,increase the income of rural poor population,increase financial expenditure and promote regional development The Secondly,it analyzes the poverty situation,characteristics and causes of the poverty in the ethnic areas of our country.It points out that the poverty of the ethnic areas in our country has long been the contradiction between the urban and rural areas,the ecological deterioration and the rapid population growth.The main reason for the formation of the problem.Thirdly,the paper uses the panel data to test the economic growth of the ethnic areas and the poverty reduction effect of the three industries.The following important conclusions are drawn: the economic growth in the ethnic areas is conducive to the reduction of poverty.In the economic growth brought by the three industries,Growth is conducive to the reduction of poverty,but the poverty reductioneffect of various industries are different;in the three industries were selected representative agriculture,animal husbandry,industry,finance,the use of panel data for further empirical analysis,the results show that China's ethnic areas Agriculture has the greatest poverty reduction effect,the poverty reduction effect of the financial industry is second,the effect of industrial poverty reduction is relatively small,and the effect of poverty reduction in animal husbandry is the smallest,but it can not be ignored.Finally,according to the empirical analysis,economic growth still has no contribution to the poverty reduction in the ethnic areas of our country,especially the growth of the first and tertiary industries in economic growth.Combined with the actual situation,the development of national poverty alleviation policy put forward some worthy of reference.In the poverty-stricken areas of ethnic areas should pay attention to the economic growth of the inclusive,optimize the industrial structure,promote economic growth,comprehensively promote the modernization of agriculture,accelerate the employment of ethnic areas,industrial development,promote the poor population transfer employment,The quality of the population in ethnic areas,establish and improve the social security system of ethnic areas,increase ecological protection,economic development into a lasting impetus to promote the economic development of ethnic poverty-stricken areas to support the poor as soon as possible out of poverty.
