Evaluation Of Poverty Reduction Effect Of Rural Tourism In Ethnic Minority Areas From The Perspective Of Multidimensional Poverty

Poverty has become one of the most acute social problems in the world,political parties,governments and all sectors of society have always attached great importance to the issue of poverty.Although China's anti-poverty cause has made great achievements,however,the anti-poverty theory and practice in ethnic areas still need to be optimized,tourism poverty reduction is an important way of poverty reduction in China's ethnic minority areas,it is of great significance to solve the problem of rural poverty in ethnic areas,at present,targeted poverty alleviation through tourism based on established villages has become a new way of thinking and a new model for poverty alleviation.Therefore,it has become a core issue of general concern for experts and scholars to test the feasibility of targeted poverty alleviation through rural tourism in ethnic areas and evaluate the poverty reduction effect of rural tourism.This study takes zhagana village in gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture of gansu province as an example,on the basis of combing the existing research results,this paper selects the method of double difference model to estimate the effect to study the poverty reduction effect of rural tourism in ethnic areas.The third phase of rural tourism development of zhagana is selected as the observation time domain,taking poor families as research samples,based on the theory of multidimensional poverty built contains economic,education,health,life,assets five dimensions,income level,consumption level,level of education,health,drinking water,quantity of cultivated land quantity,cattle/horse,housing structure and durable consumer goods nine indicators of rural tourism poverty alleviation effect evaluation index system in national regions,The research shows that rural tourism has a significant positive effect on poverty alleviation of sample families in the economic dimension and the asset dimension.Rural tourism cannot have a significant positive impact on the poverty alleviation of sample families in education dimension,health dimension and life dimension,but it will not have asignificant negative effect on it.Rural tourism has a significant positive effect on the overall multidimensional poverty reduction.The transportation condition and spatial location of the sample families have significant positive effects on poverty reduction.Finally,the conclusions of this study are as follows: it is feasible for ethnic regions to help local poverty alleviation through the development of rural tourism,and the policy of "targeted poverty alleviation through tourism" is scientific and effective.Rural tourism can only be regarded as one of the modes in the poverty alleviation work in ethnic regions,and other poverty alleviation modes must be combined to solve the appeal of the population in the region for education,health,life and other aspects.In the planning of rural tourism in ethnic areas,attention should be paid to the issue of spatial justice in the region to ensure the impartiality of regional poverty alleviation work.In addition,for the evaluation and research on the poverty reduction effect of rural tourism in ethnic minority areas,the construction of the index system needs to be more systematic and scientific,and the evaluation methods still have room for improvement.
