An Research On The Financial Support Of China Merchants Bank To The Small And Medium Sized Enterprises In Hainan

With the development of market economy,the SMEs develop rapidly,has become an important part and driving force of economic growth. But over the years, the issue of the SMEs' financing difficulties was raised repeatedly,a large number of SMEs' financing needs are not met, limiting the development of enterprises. Small and medium enterprises in Hainan also have financing difficulties. Because they are small,scattered,weak,and a small number of financial institutions, the difficulty and cost of financing is increased. In recent years,a number of banks and branches have settled in Hainan, including China Merchants Bank Haikou Branch. The China Merchants Bank is the earliest start SME business development strategy of commercial banks,has a strong advantage in the SMEs financial services sector. To relieve the SMEs' financing difficulties, research of how the China Merchants Bank to provide financial support and services for SMEs in Hainan has important practical significance. The results of previous studies at home and abroad and domestic SMEs financial support policies were reviewed and summarized. On this basis,this paper analyzes the current situation of SMEs financial development in Hainan, point out that the development of SME finance in financing channels and service level is so quickly, but there are still problems and hidden dangers. From the financial needs of SMEs in Hainan, featured financial products of the China Merchants Bank for SMEs, and its SMEs business development in Hainan have been studied. The paper also conducted a SWOT analysis of the bank for SME business, proposed a targeted and innovative business models, as well as safeguards. Compared with past business model, innovative products,marketing channels and risk mitigation tools are introduced to help these enterprises reduce the difficulty and cost of financing, that caused by weak of strength, lack of collateral etc.The study can provide the China Merchants Bank and other banks with a reference value on SME financial services in Hainan.
