Since the reform and opening,our country obtained the rapid development of national economy.However,due to the economic growth based on investment and export driven,Economic growth in China is facing more and more serious risk and test.Therefore,how to expand domestic demand,especially to expand the consumption demand in rural areas,has always been an important issue in the current economy study.Rural residents' consumption level to a certain extent,reflects China's current situation of the construction of socialist modernization,rapid and healthy development of the rural consumption is to build a new socialist countryside goal and direction,in a large extent affecting the healthy development of our country's economy sustainable.As the state support for agriculture,driven by the interests of agricultural policies,The rural residents income will continue steady growth.Along with the rural residents' consumption level gradually improve,rural residents' consumption structure is also in profound change.Therefore,studying the current status of rural residents' consumption structure in China,existing problems and influencing factors,and to improve the rural consumption level,and expanding domestic demand,the transformation of the mode of economic development in our country has important practical significance.Based on the description statistical analysis and the extended linear expenditure system model of ELES,adopt the method of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,statistical analysis and measurement on the current situation and changes of consumption structure of rural residents in China trend.The content of the thesis consists of six parts: the first part is introduction,mainly introduces the research significance and puts forward the problems,research content and method,research characteristic and innovation.The second part is the analysis of the consumption structure theory and index system.The third part is the present situation of our rural residents' consumption structure change and trend analysis.The fourth part is the empirical analysis of the rural residents' consumption structure in China.The fifth part is the analysis of influencing factors of rural residents' consumption structure in China.The last part of this article studies the main conclusion and proposes policy recommendations.This research shows that the rural residents' consumption structure in China has experienced a "cold","subsistence" level,beginning to enter the developmental stage;On the whole,food,clothing and other consumer spending decreased,and entertainment,transportation,health care expenditure proportion in gradually increasing,reflect changes in the consumption structure is accelerating trend;Rural residents' consumption level on the whole has been a significant increase,but different consumption structure of rural income did not appear particularly large grade difference;There was a significant difference in the consumption structure of rural residents in different regions;Rural residents overall marginal propensity to consume is still low;Rural residents in precautionary saving and health care spending is bigger,this is related to the level of the current social security system.Therefore,to improve the level of rural residents' consumption in China,further improve the rural residents' consumption structure:One is to accelerate the construction and development of rural consumption market;two is to adjust agricultural industry structure,the transformation of agricultural development mode,improve the income level of rural residents;three is to continue to improve the rural social security system;the four is to increase agriculture and the "three rural" preferential policy efforts;five is to accelerate the pace of new countryside construction and rural urbanization,urbanization of the city.
