With the development of our national economy,science and technology rapidly changing,the demand for knowledgeable workers is getting more and more intense.Because of the great competitive pressure in modern society,most of knowledgeable staff are facing pressure like role stress,job burnout and other issues,thus fact gives rise to the employee's unfavorable performance and the sense of belonging to the organization declined,and even generates turnover intention.As a result,pressure issues will have a huge negative effect on the enterprises.Therefore,managers should pay attention to the stress management over knowledge workers,meanwhile role stress as an important source of work pressure should also attract more attention.There have been very fruitful achievements in foreign countries over role stress study,but such study,limited to teachers,nurses and other industries,is still in its infancy in our country.Role stress has significant influence on work performance,job satisfaction and involvement.While organization commitment,referring to individual's attitude and positive psychological tendency towards the organization,greatly impacts on job burnout and engagement.In this paper,surveys on the knowledgeable workers in IT industry are carried out under the guidance of role pressure related study to research the relationship between role stress and organizational commitment in IT industry in Chinese cultural background.Self-efficacy as a moderating variable will also be introduced into and used to confirm the above relationship.After that this paper is going to put forward recommendations in terms of role stress management.This paper provides theoretical relationship model of organizational commitment,self-efficacy and role stress in IT industry based on reviewing the related literatures,assuming the relationship between variable dimensions.Then,the data was collected through questionnaires,writer using spss19.0 to analysis the data,final conclusion is reached by proving the hypothetical relationships between variables.At last, according to the processing results of data p and the combination between them and existing research,this paper puts forward some useful suggestions in employees' role stress management.The main conclusions are as follows:1 knowledgeable workers in IT industry are in the upper middle of the role stress.2 A significant negative correlation between the employee role stress and organizational commitment is present among knowledgeable workers in IT industry knowledge.3 knowledgeable worker's self-efficacy plays a significant regulatory role.in process of role stress and organizational commitment in IT industry.
