In the "slow growth" economic environment and an increasingly competitive environment,the core competitiveness becomes the key of enterprises.Further,the cost advantage is a necessary condition of modern enterprises which achieves sustained competitiveness.Therefore,this paper chooses inventory management,an important part of cost management,as the starting point,in order to provide new ideas for the problem how to improve the viability and competitiveness of enterprises during the economic restructure.Based on the research achievements,this paper elaborates theoretical models of inventory management,including ABC method,Economic Order Quantity model,Material Resource Plan model,Just-In-Time Production model.On this theoretical basis,we selected CSR Times Electric as practice subjects,describing four aspects of its survival inventory management status.Moreover,we analyze the existing problems of inventory management,further seek the main reasons:First,the inventory management philosophy is weak;Second,management architecture design is unreasonable;Third,internal control of inventory management is unreasonable.Finally we propose reasonable suggestions for CSR Times Electric inventory management problems.This study has important theoretical and practical significance.Currently the case study of inventory management involves all walks of life,including books,retail,textile and machinery manufacturing.But the study of traffic accessories manufacturing industry has not yet been carried out.In theory,this paper further added and improved inventory management theory.In fact,this paper analyzed the characteristics of the traffic accessories manufacturing industry,and the research findings have more maneuverability.
