Application Study Of Lean Production In Gas Turbine Line Of Company A

Lean production originated from Toyota Production System by Toyota motor company.It is a new mode of production following single small batch production and Ford mass production line.Its aim is to eliminate all unnecessary waste during the product design,manufacturing and sales,so as to reduce production cost,improve quality,maximize profit and improve company competitive.As an advanced production,with the increasing competition in the manufacturing field,lean production becomes the first choice for manufacturing companies.This article based on the background of gas turbine product line,considers the manufacture structure status of the company,lean production imported the product line of A company in the hope of establishing the lean production system.Company A is a large steel casting manufacturing company.With increasing capacity and more competitive marketing environment,manufacture management has to be changed quickly to meet sustainable requirements of customers.Facing ever competitive marketing environment,company A adopts lean product for its gas turbine production line,uses lean production tools and concepts to improve production site,and uses theoretical analysis together with practice to explore lean production.This articles introduces the implementation and results of lean production in terms of just-in-time production,total quality management,standardization and site management.Through the comparison before and after the change,the company has made obvious improvements in terms of production management and cost savings,which proves lean production indeed help company improve production efficiency,reduce cost and improve company competitive.
