The Research On Schedule Control Of The Sixth Contract Of Hengyan Highway Project

Schedule, a combination of comprehensive indexes of the highway project task,time and cost, can reflect the project implementation status. The implementation ofthe project tasks, and the synchronous examination, comparison and adjustment on thebasis of schedule, which can help reach objectives, are central tasks of the projectmanagement. Scedule control not only affects the success of the project, but alsodirectly influences the profit and development of the project. This paper, which dealswith the effective application of the project schedule control theories in engineeringconstruction according to the schedule control of the sixth contract of HengYanhighway project, has important practical value to improve the level of the projectmanagement, and its construction experience has important theoretical and practicalsignificance.This paper aims to find a clue to the schedule control of highway projects fromthe actual schedule control of the sixth contract of HengYan highway project in termsof the schedule control preparation, the schedule control process, and the schedulecontrol effect respectively. Firstly this paper introduces the background andsignificance of research projects, focusing on the status of research on project schedulecontrol at home and abroad and the current situation of the domestic highway projectschedule control. Secondly this paper presents the construction of the sixth contract ofHengYan highway project and discusses the necessity of progress control by analysingthe current status and problems of the project schedule control. Thirdly, this paperdetailed presents the research on the project schedule control process, including theproject analysis, the compilation, implementation and control of the schedule planning,by expounding the preliminary work of the project schedule control and analysing theproject schedule control system, the organizational structure and function arrangementas well as the project schedule control system construction, etc. Finally, this paperevaluats the project schedule control effect on the basis of the newly-built evaluationsystem and model and offers some suggestions to a better schedule control which leadsto the thought of controlling the whole progress dynamically.
