With the increase in the number of cancer patients in China,cancer-related issues have become the focus of attention and are challenging the existing medical system in China.Due to limited medical resources in large oncology hospitals,many cancer patients have to find a safe place near the hospital to receive treatment.The number of cancer patients in our country continues to rise,and the number of outpatients who flock to large cities for medical treatment is also increasing.Many of them have no enough expenses to stay in hotels near the hospital for a long time due to economic poverty and long treatment periods.So those family hotels become the best for cancer patients and their families.These hotels are called "cancer hotels".Over time,such hotels have slowly developed into a true microcosm of the rapid increase in the number of cancer patients in China.The “cancer hotel” is actually a special form of group rental housing.Their miserablelife makes them have no choice but to live in that community.In fact,this also reflects the uneven medical resources and insufficient development to a certain extent.The congregation of similar people makes it an "alternative community" in the city.This graduation project takes the form of a news work and uses these hotels near the Jiangsu Cancer Hospital as a starting point to show the significance of a special community such as "cancer hotel" and how its residents live.After completing the introduction of the special community "Cancer Hotel" and related situations in the news section,the author selects representative characters based on the timeline,and takes the daily life and stories of the characters as the main content.The paper will describe and introduce the interaction within and outside the community.In addition,the paper will reveal their economic problems,treatment process and daily requirements.It will combine these three parts to show how the community operates as possible as it can.
