Requirement change is one of the important issues when developing a software project. The schedule of the changes is important for accepting it.Inaccuracies in the assessment to increase of schedule is one of the important factors that leads to high project failure rates. How to accurately assess the schedule of requirement changes has become the key to improve the success rate of software projects.Company N is a software service company whose main business is small and medium-sized software outsourcing development. It uses agile development model for software project development. This model has characteristics of rapid and frequently requirement changes, which accompany the entire development cycle. The schedule uncertainty caused by requirement changes is particularly serious. In this thesis, based on the historical project data of company N,we classified the requirement changes and review the project history, using the regression analysis to evaluate the impact of different categories of requirement changes. This thesis' s main tasks are as follows:(1)Classify and evaluate requirements for historical project data of company N.(2)Evaluate the coupling strength between software modules by expert scoring method.(3)Using requirement classification method and design structure matrix(DSM)build the requirement change schedule model.(4)Verify the effect of this model by the actual project. In this thesis, through the analysis of requirement categories and the study and calculation of requirement change propagation, improved the evaluation method for project schedule change caused by requirement change, which effectively improves the accuracy of project duration evaluation in the above cases. It plays a guiding role in the assessment of N company's schedule change.
