Research On Publication Standardization Of Book Copyright Pages

The description of book copyright pages needs to follow a unified national standard to ensure the orderly development of the publishing industry.This article uses content analysis method,case analysis method and comprehensive induction method to analyze the provisions of "Book Title Page"(GB/T12450-2001),and analyzes the "Chinese Standard Book Number","Book and Magazine Format" closely related to the standard And its format size","Book Cataloging Data","Book Spine Rules for Books and Other Publications" and other national standards are introduced and discussed.This article randomly selected 400 books published by 4 publishing houses in China from 2003 to 2019 as a research sample.Through the analysis of the samples,we summarized the irregularities of the copyright pages of domestic books,and found the printing position and copyright description of the copyright pages.,Book cataloging and edition records are not standardized.At the same time,it sorts out and analyzes the papers related to book copyright pages in the past 15 years,explores the common points of existing book copyright page publishing irregularities,and summarizes the problems of book copyright page irregularities.There are four reasons for this: first,the editor's professional competence is not good enough;second,the publishing house's weak awareness of standardization;third,insufficient supervision of the implementation of national standards;fourth,the lack of cohesion between national standards and administrative instructions and industry standards.Both.Based on this,this article proposes countermeasures and implementation plans to improve the standardization of copyright page publishing.The countermeasures are divided into five points: one is that editors should strengthen the standardization of publishing ethics;the second is that publishing houses should strengthen the awareness of standardization of publishing;the third is that publishing supervision and management institutions should strengthen supervision;the fourth is to establish a working mechanism to promote the standardization of the publishing industry.It is the implementation details that are used in conjunction with national standards.The implementation plan is also divided into five points: awareness of the establishment of a standardized publishing assessment system for editors,second,the publishing house divides the responsibilities of publishing standardization work,and implements an accountability system,third is the implementation of a clear reward and punishment system for the publishing standardization work of publishing houses,and fourth It is to use the media to increase the publicity of the national standards and regulations on copyright pages.Fifth,it proposes optimization suggestions for the current national standards for copyright pages.These optimization suggestions include suggestions on the description of the editions of the imported books.Publisher information can save the post Encoding and adjusting the description of the format.This article provides theoretical references for editors,and at the same time offers advice and suggestions for relevant state departments,and proposes relatively scientific,complete and detailed countermeasures to the standardization of copyright page publishing,hoping to help promote the development of domestic book copyright page publishing standardization.
