As a new type of manufacturing technology,3D printing technology has been applied in many fields such as aerospace,automobiles,food,building models and so on.Because the printing equipment and printing materials involved in FDM forming technology are relatively cheap and common,FDM forming technology has developed the fastest in 3D printing technology,and the research on FDM forming technology at home and abroad is also the most extensive.How to choose the appropriate layering method and path planning method has become the research focus of improving the accuracy of 3D printing.The main research contents and methods of this article are as follows:First,the FDM forming technology and the research status at home and abroad are analyzed,and the research content and methods of this subject are proposed.Secondly,based on the existing layering method,an adaptive layering method based on outer contours is proposed.This method uses the Z-axis characteristic curve to extract the outer contours of the solid model and divides the extracted outer contours.Segmentation processing,find the relationship between the tangent of the contour line of the corresponding segment and the Z axis,and determine the layer thickness.Finally,mathematical methods such as probability statistics,superposition and summation are used to complete the layering of the printed solid model.Then,on the basis of the existing path planning method,the fractal scanning method of Hilbert curve is improved.To solve the problem that the print head frequently changes the direction during the printing of solid model,the fractal scanning method of Hilbert curve is introduced.Take the optimal path and linear merge method to merge their original circuits,re-plan the scan path,and finally generate an improved fractal scan method.Finally,the method of this paper is verified by printing examples,and the same model is printed using the equal-thickness layering and the adaptive layering method based on the outer contour lines to analyze the molding time and accuracy of the printed model;The scanning method prints the same model separately,and analyzes the printing time,molding accuracy,and printer stability during printing;verifies the feasibility of the layered method and path planning method in this paper.
