The smoke screen is an important part of modern warfare,and the millimeter wave attenuation rate of smoke screen clouds is an important parameter for studying the formulation of pyrotechnic powder and the design of functional additives.Therefore,it is extremely important to independently develop a special test system that can satisfy the measurement of smoke screen attenuation rate in the millimeter wave band.Based on the technical requirements of the "3mm / 8mm millimeter wave transmittance test system" proposed by Nanjing University of Science and Technology,this paper studies the W and Ka band transceiver modules,combined with other components such as customized antennas,linear power supplies,erecting platforms and related software Integrated a complete test system.The system can be used for the transmission test of millimeter-wave smoke agents that explode into smoke in external field conditions,and can also be used to study the attenuation effect of millimeter waves by means of a microwave darkroom available for combustion reactions.According to the current method that millimeter waves are mainly generated by X-band or Ku-band frequency doubling.This article designs X-band frequency source module,W and Kaband transmitter module,W / Ka-band receiver module,IF module,etc.These modules implement their own functions and have their own index constraints,and their orderly cascade It constitutes the overall circuit of the millimeter wave transceiver module.The entire article first analyzes the circuit design and implementation of these modules,and then describes the debugging methods,test methods and test results of each module in detail.The main technical indicators reached by the millimeter wave transceiver module: the output frequency of the Wband transmitter module is 95 GHz,the output power is greater than 15 dBm,the phase noise is-83 dBc / Hz @ 1kHz,-92 dBc / Hz @ 10 kHz,-92 dBc / Hz @ 100kHz;Ka band The output frequency and power of the transmitting module are 36 GHz and 32 dBm,the phase noise is-92 dBc / Hz @ 1kHz,-96 dBc / Hz @ 10 kHz,-99 dBc / Hz @ 100kHz;the W and Ka band millimeter wave receiving module outputs the intermediate frequency signal frequency is 1.6 GHz and 1.2GHz,the conversion gain is 11.3dB and 8.2dB,respectively,the noise figure is 5.01 dB and 2.98 dB,because the noise factor of the IF module is very small,so it fully meets the design requirements of the receiver noise figure;IF module gain The control range is greater than 30 dB,the linear range of the detector output voltage is 0.5V ~ 2.3V,and the corresponding linear range of power change is 36 dB,which meets the design requirements of a linear dynamic range of not less than 32 dB.Finally,the system integration is completed with the customized antenna and other components and delivered to the user for acceptance,which fully meets the user's measurement requirements.
