In the process of automatic control engineering design in the petrochemical field,the automatic control specialty is often affected by process conditions,instrument ordering data,etc.,resulting in part of the workload of the automatic control specialty is often pressed at the later stage of the project design cycle,which virtually causes the automatic control specialty to complete a large number of design work in a short time.At the same time,there are many types of files and complicated design contents.When the conditions of the upstream profession change,a series of design documents often need to be modified.In the face of this situation,traditional methods often make designers fall into exhaustion,which is time-consuming,labor-intensive,and error-prone.In this regard,this paper studies and draws lessons from the characteristics of automatic control engineering design software at home and abroad,and puts forward the development of automatic control engineering aided design software based on Delphi software according to the actual needs of enterprises.The purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of automatic generation of documents which need to be manually prepared by designers in the original process of engineering design,which has a large workload and a lot of repetitive work,so as to improve the working efficiency of designers,improve the accuracy of design documents,and reduce the workload of designers.First of all,this paper points out the main problems in the current design process by analyzing the business characteristics of automatic control engineering design.In view of the main problems,the paper puts forward a solution to develop an automatic control engineering aided design software.Then,using the idea of software engineering,the software requirements analysis,software design,software implementation and software testing are completed in turn.Finally,through the use of the software,it solves the problem of automatic generation of design documents,which are constrained by various conditions in the process of automatic control engineering design,part of which is at the end of the design cycle with heavy workload and repetitive work,so as to improve the design efficiency,ensure the design quality,and make the designers focus more on the design itself rather than the boring mechanical repetitive work.
