RFID technology has been used in library management and archives management for many years.Its characters of non-contact,high speed data transmission and long distance signal transmission bring great convenience to users.But RFID also has some obvious drawbacks,such the label misreading cause by the magnetic disturbance of application scenarios.It is difficult to determine whether the labels have been checked through the inventory data when the user doesn't know the total number of the labels.In many cases,the application of RFID technology is limited by these defects.In this paper we select the RFID archives cabinet as the testing application scenario.UHF passive labels are used to deeply research the missing reading problem and the efficiency of labels inventory.Through the analysis of the basic transmission principle of RFID system,we find out the main reasons of the potential label misreading.And most of the reasons are verified by labels inventory testing in the application scenario.According to the problems of tag inventory testing,this paper designs a non-miss-read checking strategy,which is suitable for tags and readers supporting RFID_Gen2 communication protocol.Based on the analysis of the signal strength value RSSI,which is returned by the label,RFID reader can achieve the minimum inventory time without missing tags even not know the total number of tags.Moreover,the inventory strategy does not depend on specific hardware devices and it is portable.The inventory strategy designed by the paper is embedded programmed,and the code is transplanted to an RFID reader,which realizes the function of no-leakage inventory strategy.By installing the RFID reader into an RFID filing cabinet for test verification,the inventory strategy is proved to be effective and reliable.And this paper analyzes the test results in detail and calculates the performance improvement extent of the inventory strategy to the entire RFID filing cabinet system.And the detailed data analysis of the test results shows that the inventory strategy can improve the inventory efficiency of RFID filing cabinet by 1.8 times.Finally,the research done in this paper is summarized systematically,and the further research and optimization direction of the RFID filing cabinet is prospected.
