With the development of satellite communication system,LEO satellite system has long-term development prospects for the characteristics of global coverage,low transmission latency,low power consumption,anti-destructive performance and so on.However,the frequent handover for the high-speed movement of LEO satellites makes the mobile handover management become a very important and urgent problem in LEO satellite networks.The first chapter of this paper expounds the background and the current research situation at home and abroad,and then introduces the main research contents and organizational structure of the thesis.The second chapter proposed the LEO satellite network handover model and the data transmission latency model,and then a MIPv6 satellite selection criterion is designed based on distance detection with the MIPv6 protocol,and then the MIPv6 protocol is applied to LEO satellite system.At the same time,the calculation formula of handover latency and packet loss of mobile IP protocol is deduced,and the influence of different selection strategies on handover latency and packet loss is analyzed,which solves the problem of the satellite selection and the network model for the negotiation of inter-satellite switching protocol.In the third chapter,the handover process of MIPv6,FMIPv6,PMIPv6 and FPMIPv6 is analyzed in detail based on the LEO satellite network handover model.The mathematical model of handover latency,packet loss and signaling overhead of four protocols is established.And the simulation results are compared with the three performance indicators of the four protocols,analysising the causes of the performance differences combined with the characteristics of LEO satellite network,pointing out the design mechanism which should be considered in the design of the future satellite network mobile management protocol.In the fourth chapter,the "call registration mechanism" and the "regional equilibrium mechanism" of the multi-media service are established based on the TCRA-based reserved channel strategy.TCRA strategy,the TCRA-based channel forced reservation strategy and the TCRA-based channel forced reservation strategys with the mechanisms proposed in this chapter are used to analyze the new call blocking rate,handover failure rate and channel utilization in three cases,verifying the validity and correctness of the mechanisms proposed in this paper.Chapter 5 summarizes the work of this paper,and prospects the next research direction of the subject.
