2019 is the first year of 5G development.With the advent of 5G networks,the wave of artificial intelligence technology has intensified,and robotics research has gradually entered people's field of vision.The robot industry is developing rapidly,and the research and development of robot technology has also become one of the important standards for measuring the level of technological innovation and development of a country.The original intention of robots to be developed and produced is to serve human beings.With the development of science and technology,the scope of robotic R & D and applications has gradually expanded.From industrial fields to aerospace,medical services,home security and other industries,human production and life have become more and more Thanks to the emergence of robots.When many manufacturing companies are doing robot R & D,they have not paid enough attention to their materials,especially the research on the beauty of materials is often neglected.Based on this,the author has done the following work on the study of material beauty in robot modeling design.First,the existing robot types to be studied are classified and identified,and the classification direction is determined to be industrial robots,home service robots and special robots.Then,through market research,the author summarized the development history of robots,and investigated the development status of industrial robots,home service robots and special robots.It is concluded from this that the realization of various functions of a wide variety of robots is inseparable from the use of materials.The choice of materials for robots must be considered from various aspects,including the use environment,process requirements,and economical aspects.Comprehensively considered,material texture is an important manifestation of material aesthetics.Therefore,the author rearranges and proposes the concept of texture design in materials,roughly classifies the types of materialsinto two angles: traditional materials and new materials,natural materials and high-tech materials,summarizes the connotation and reflection of material aesthetics,and from the material aesthetics The aesthetic performance of the analysis of the possibility of material beauty.Among them,the author has made research and elaboration on the touch,vision,hearing,taste and psychological feeling of materials.From the perspective of modeling design,the relationship between modeling design and material beauty is analyzed from the natural,technical and human attributes of material beauty.From the perspective of robot modeling,the materials of the robot,the use of materials,and the manifestation of material beauty were analyzed to a certain extent.At the end of the article,according to the aesthetic application rules of texture design,the aesthetic rules of material selection in robot modeling design are proposed.This article focuses on the concrete performance of material aesthetics in robot modeling design from texture design and material beauty,and puts forward the current market and academia's contempt for the beauty of robot modeling design material,which makes up for the lack of ambiguity about its concept.Combining aesthetic principles with formal aesthetics,material aesthetics,mechanical engineering technology and other related theories,starting from rational thinking,the concept of material beauty for robot modeling design was supplemented,and the principle of material selection was proposed to enrich the theory of material beauty,hoping to arouse everyone Paying more attention to the beauty of materials has caused designers to think about the appropriate representation of materials in robot modeling design to bring people a better emotional experience,and to provide some reference for scholars who study the beauty of materials in the future.
