At present,the world is in a major transition stage from the industrial economy to the digital economy.The digital technologies represented by the Internet,big data,cloud computing,and artificial intelligence have profoundly changed the economic behavior of the micro subject and greatly played the important role of data in improving economic efficiency.It has actively promoted China's economic transformation and upgrading and become a new driving force for economic development.More efficient acquisition and use of data become an important symbol of strong competitiveness.As the backbone of China's national economy,central enterprises are also accelerating the digital transformation.Digitalization is the basic premise and important foundation for central enterprises to realize intelligent,and it is also an important way to realize the high-quality development of central enterprises.To have a comprehensive and clear understanding of the digital transformation of central enterprises in China,this paper studies the current situation and problems of the digital transformation of central enterprises in the new era,and builds a digital level measurement model based on the analytic hierarchy process,which is based on technology application,new infrastructure construction,new models and new forms of business.The results show that the digital transformation of central enterprises will help enhance their international competitiveness,better play an exemplary role,and facilitate the transformation and upgrading of China's real economy.In the context of the digital economy,central enterprises have strengthened their attention and input to digital construction,and the digital transformation of central enterprises in China has made a qualitative leap.At present,digital application covers a wide range in the workflow of central enterprises,and the application focus is prominent.The mode of using digital means to help carry out management work is changing from extensive to intensive and refined.However,there are still significant problems in some aspects,such as unclear digital transformation path of China's central enterprises;The ability of transformation foundation is not strong;Inadequate support services.By measuring the digitization level of China's central enterprises,it can be found that the overall digitization level of China's central enterprises is good,but the development is unbalanced and insufficient.From the perspective of industry,the digitization level is from high to low for the petrochemical industry,electronic information industry,transportation equipment manufacturing industry,machinery industry,energy and power industry,consumer goods industry,building materials industry and metallurgy industry.Among them,the digitization level of the petrochemical industry and metallurgical industry differs greatly.At the same time,eight industries of China's central enterprises present different digital development characteristics and different development paths.To sum up,to further improve the digitalization level of central enterprises,this study puts forward the following five policy suggestions: First,data sharing should be supported by digital infrastructure.On the one hand,the construction of network facilities for central enterprises should be strengthened to improve the level of infrastructure connectivity and modern services.On the other hand,it attaches importance to data sharing across industries,departments,platforms,and links.Second,strengthen digital management through digital system applications.On the one hand,it is necessary to make use of the new Internet technology and new application to transform all sectors of the central enterprises in an all-round,all-angle and all-chain way.On the other hand,we should gradually improve the digital management and operation of central enterprises.Third,give play to the guiding and supporting role of the government and industry associations.Through the overall planning of the government and the active intervention of industry associations,a favorable and relaxed external environment is provided for the digital transformation of central enterprises.Fourth,digital talent training to enhance the digital literacy of employees.On the one hand,central enterprises can strengthen the construction of digital talent team by combining internal training with external recruitment.On the other hand,relevant departments should strengthen the cultivation of talents in thefield of digital technology.Fifthly,build and optimize the digital value chain with a digital platform.By building a powerful digital platform,central enterprises can be helped to deal with their core business more efficiently and truly realize the smart,convenient and low-cost operation of central enterprises.
