At present,High-power Ultra-Wideband electromagnetic pulse technology has been widely used in civil fields such as target ranging,geological exploration,biomedicine,etc.In recent years,with the application potential of ultra-wideband impulse radar in high-power microwave weapons,electronic interference and other military fields Research on ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulse sources has become a hot spot for scholars around the world,and the pursuit of high power,narrow pulse width,high repetition frequency,and miniaturization of pulse sources has become the main research direction.Avalanche Transistor has a fast response speed,an operating current of up to tens of amps,and is inexpensive and small in size.It is an ideal pulse generation device.Using an avalanche transistor can produce high amplitude,fast frontier Low jitter,high repetition frequency and high stability of voltage and current pulses.Due to the limited amplitude of the pulse generated by a single avalanche transistor,usually about a few hundred volts,usually multiple avalanche transistors are used in combination with series and parallel Marx cascade,etc.Various circuit forms to obtain higher pulse amplitude and output power.The combination of avalanche transistors and Marx circuits to design and develop pulse signal sources is the mainstream method reported in the literature.In practical applications,pulse signal sources based on avalanche transistors and Marx circuits are mostly designed with a single-layer board structure.The front circuit traces and the metal plate ground on the back are equivalent to a microstrip antenna.During the passage of avalanche tubes at all levels There will be electromagnetic pulse signal radiating out,although the radiation efficiency is low,but due to the high peak power of the pulse signal generated by the Marx circuit and many coupling paths,it can still interfere with the control system of the pulse source;when the pulse When the source and antenna array are used,the control system can even stop working,which brings difficulties to the electromagnetic compatibility design of the system.Studying the radiation effect of the pulse signal source,and proposing and taking effective protection and reinforcement measures have become problems that must be solved in practical system applications.This article first introduces the basic concepts,application areas,and technical advantages of ultra-wideband pulse technology.The Marx pulse generation system based on avalanche transistor is analyzed comprehensively.The design,development and experiment process of Marx pulse source based on avalanche transistor are introduced in detail.According to the working principle and characteristics of avalanche transistors,the simulation model of Marx circuit of avalanche transistors was established.The CST electromagnetic simulation software was used to analyze and analyze the factors affecting the radiation of Marx circuits.For the influence of the control system,for the system application based on the avalanche transistor Marx circuit,effective measures for electromagnetic pulse protection are proposed.Through the combination of simulation and experiment,the influence of circuit radiation on the Marx pulse generation system is reduced,and the anti-interference ability of the system is improved.
