As the ultra-wideband time-domain pulse signal system is widely used in many important fields such as UWB(Ultra Wideband)pulse radar,electromagnetic attack,biomedicine,etc.,it is suitable for outputting pulse signals with high stability,high peak power,fast rising edges,and narrow pulse width.The research and development of the source has been extensively studied by scholars around the world.In a variety of pulse source development methods,the use of Avalanche transistor(Avalanche transistor)highspeed avalanche switching speed,the collector can withstand large current characteristics to develop Marx pulse generator,has become the mainstream mode of pulse source research and development.Marx circuit is the key to the development of all solid-state pulse signal sources.After the world scholars have studied the topology of Marx circuits,the avalanche unit is used in series and parallel to increase the peak amplitude and peak power of the pulse source's output waveform,which can generally reach dozens of k W.However,with the continuous improvement of the peak power requirements of the output pulse signal,the improvement technology of the output peak power of a single Marx pulse signal source has reached a bottleneck.Therefore,in recent years,scholars have turned their research directions to the method of power synthesis to break through the pulse source based on Marx circuit.The bottleneck of output peak power.The power synthesis of the pulse source is generally realized by the mainstream method of Blumlein line,transmission line transformer(TLT),and pulse synchronization superposition.The peak output power of the pulse source can reach the MW level,achieving a breakthrough in the high peak power of all solid-state circuits.This article uses the method of power synthesis to realize the development of high peak power pulse signal source.The specific work is as follows:First,the basic principles,theoretical calculation formulas,simulation design,experimental testing and other key technologies and solutions appearing in the all-solidstate Marx pulse signal source based on avalanche transistors are systematically summarized.Then introduce the generation mechanism of pulse source jitter and the specific measures to suppress jitter,and explain the importance of pulse signal source stability for peak power synthesis.Secondly,it describes in detail the development process of a pulse source with high stability,fast rising edge,and narrow half-peak pulse width,including circuit optimization and innovation,experimental testing and analysis of the internal sub-modules of the pulse source,and the realization of the former Successfully suppressed the time jitter of the pulse source output signal,laying a solid foundation for power synthesis.Finally,by comparing the scheme of using a transmission line transformer and using a Wilkinson power divider to achieve a power synthesis experiment,it was decided to use two Wilkinson power dividers to split and then combine to achieve 0.8MW peak power output with a rising edge of less than 200 ps,The development of an all-solid-state pulse signal source with trigger jitter less than 20 ps and a repetition frequency of 20 k Hz,and the simulation design and development of a wideband Wilkinson power divider in the working frequency band of 0.5GHz?2.5GHz.
