Due to the widespread use of robotic arms and the intrinsic pursuit of improving human performance in mechanical arm operation, human performance in mechanical arm operations have become an important topic in daily production and life. With the development of control technology, the mechanical arm control system itself is no longer the main reason for limiting the human performance improvement of the robot arm operation task.On the contrary, due to the interaction and mutual influence between human cognition and emotion, the operational performance based on cognitive state will be affected by emotions, and therefore the problem of low performance of operation caused by the change of emotional state of the robotic arm operator Highlighted. Therefore, this paper aims to quantitatively evaluate the operator's emotion state and human performance level in the robotic arm operation task to explore the relationship between the operator's emotion state and operation performance during the mechanical arm operation. The main contents of this thesis include: analyzing the existing theoretical results of emotion detection and performance evaluation, combining the emotion model, performance model and real experimental scene, and abstracting the human-machine-environment system in the operation of the mechanical arm.Extensive research and experimental analysis were carried out on the feature extraction and feature selection methods of EEG signals. This paper investigates the performance evaluation method of mechanical arm operation, and extracts 7 objective performance evaluation indicators from the trajectory of the mechanical arm tip.At the same time, based on these 7 indicators,a comprehensive objective performance evaluation index is proposed to characterize the objective performance level in the operation of the robot arm.Further, the design and implementation of the robot arm operation experiment, using different task difficulty experiments to stimulate the participants' emotions, combined with emotion detection and objective performance evaluation methods, the experimental data were analyzed and processed. The results show that the frequency domain energy characteristics in the six cortical regions have advantages in recognition effect compared with other features. The comprehensive performance indicators obtained from the seven objective performance indicators can effectively reflect the mechanical arm.Operational performance during operation.Based on the analysis of the experimental results, the conclusion is drawn that the arousal value is negatively correlated with the performance value.
