The identity of visually impaired children refers to the psychological process of the recognition of self-identity and the cognition of their own group,as well as the integration of their behavior mechanism and emotional experience.Under the background of new media technology,smart phones have brought changes to the lifestyle of the visually impaired.Taking QQ,wechat,microblog and other social media as examples,visually impaired children carry out online social interaction through social media,which greatly affects the identity of visually impaired children.On the basis of combing the relevant literature,this study developed the social media use questionnaire and identity questionnaire for visually impaired children,and made a descriptive analysis of the use of social media and identity of visually impaired children by using the method of quantitative research.From the perspective of social media use,the most commonly used social media for visually impaired children is instant communication software;the main motivation of using social media is to contact and communicate;most visually impaired children's ability to contact and use media is lower than that of ordinary Internet users;the network social scale of visually impaired children is smaller,the use behavior of sharing is less,and the frequency of participating in interaction is lower.From the perspective of identity,visually impaired children have a better collective identity;the positive behavior of parents is the key to promote the identity of visually impaired children.Through the regression analysis of the relationship between the use of social media and identity of visually impaired children,it is found that there is a significant positive correlation between the identity of visually impaired children and the acquisition of network information,the contactand satisfaction of network,and the self construction of network image.The higher the identity of visually impaired children,the more real their self construction in social media,and the acquisition and satisfaction of information The higher the degree.In order to understand the social media use and identity of visually impaired children more concretely and deeply,six visually impaired children of different grades,including grade 6,grade 2 and grade 2 of primary school,were selected for in-depth interviews.From the interview results,family situation and school collective have a profound impact on the identity construction of visually impaired children,while new Internet social activities such as social media are gradually changing the original interpersonal relationship of visually impaired children.It can be seen that in the future,social media may reconstruct the identity of visually impaired children.The use of social media has brought many changes to visually impaired children,including acquiring more knowledge,expanding interpersonal networks,and gaining more self-confidence,which is very beneficial for the integration of visually impaired children into society.Through the study of the marginalized and vulnerable groups such as visually impaired children,we can arouse people's awareness of the in-depth understanding of the visually impaired groups,which is of great significance to improve the social tolerance and acceptance of the visually impaired groups and reduce the social discrimination against the visually impaired and even the disabled groups.
