In recent years,with the rapid development of information technology and communication technology,as well as the assistance of various functional sensors,human beings are gradually entering the era of Internet of things.All things are interconnected,and all things feed back to each other,among which the application demand of display technology is more and more extensive.The long strip LCD screen is applied in subway,public transportation,business supermarket,finance,building advertisement and other fields,and brings many conveniences to people's daily life,with huge market potential.But at present,there is little research on the production and manufacturing technology of LCD bar display at home and abroad,and the quality of the bar display products pushed to the market is uneven.In this paper,based on the manufacturing process of LCD panel,the author puts forward three kinds of feasible manufacturing processes of LCD bar display.Combined with the current market characteristics of "a small amount of diversity",the author comprehensively selects the best secondary cutting and sealing process for the finished product.It is pointed out that the performance of sealing glue is the key to the success of secondary cutting and repacking process.The matching of liquid crystal and sealing glue is studied by differential scanning calorimeter and high performance liquid chromatography.Investigate the possible application environment of bar display,analyze the test conditions of customers and competitors,and design the strict test conditions combined with the test conditions of LCD TV screen.According to the test results,four typical problems that are easy to occur in the bar display technology are found and combed: liquid crystal bubble,polarizing plate polarizing axis fracture,polarizing plate yellowing and vertical dark line.Firstly,according to the experimental design,the key factors that affect the occurrence rate of liquid crystal bubble are found out: glue viscosity value and glue penetration width.To verify the relationship between the thickness of liquid crystal cell and the width of glue penetration,a better width control specification of 2~5mm was proposed.Secondly,under the condition that the secondary cutting of the polarizing plate can not be carried out after edge grinding,a non-contact laser cutting method is proposed,which can significantly improve the cutting quality of the polarizing plate,reduce the section roughness,and improve the ability of the polarizing plate to resist the damage caused by cold and hot shock.Thirdly,for the LCD bar display with high temperature application scenario,the high temperature resistant dye polarizing plate can be selected as the polarizing plate,and the iodine polarizing plate which is not high temperature resistant can be abandoned.Finally,some measures are put forward to reduce the risk of vertical dark line,such as controlling the cutting accuracy and the pressure of cutter wheel,and using laser cutting to break the common electrode of several rows of pixels near the cutting line.This paper explores an economic,reliable and mass production feasibility of LCD bar display manufacturing process,which has a positive significance for the development of bar display manufacturing technology and quality improvement...
