Image quality is one of the decisive factor affecting choices and purchase of display devices.Improving image quality can directly improve satisfaction of consumers with products.In the current background of large-screen display,various ultra-high-definition new display technologies are flourishing,home laser projection equipment is arising,and demands of consumers are getting higher.It is signicant for manufacturers improving image quality and optimizing the products to establish a relationship model between image quality and the influencial factors and analyze the influencial weight of each factor based on various display platform.In consideration of importance and independence,this paper firstly defined five influencial factors: gamma,white level(WL),black level(BL),contour rendering(CR)and color saturation(CS).Secondly,respectly based on LCD display and laser projector,image quality assessment experiments were performed,relative models were established and the contribution of influencial factors were figured out.In the exploration based on LCD display,perception experiment of just noticeable difference(JND)of gamma was firstly carried out.The JND range of gamma values was measured,the influencial factors of JND were analyzed and the multiple relationship of multiple JND values was fitted.Then,gamma,white level,color saturation and contour rendering were normalized by their JND,image quality assessement perception experiment was performed,the model was established and the influencial weights of each factor were analyzed.In the research based on laser projector,the JND perception experiment of white level,black level,contour rendering and color saturation was carried out on laser projector.The range of JND was measured,the influencial factors were analyzed and multiple relationship of JNDs were fitted.The results shows that the JNDs of the laser projector are different from that of the LCD.The reasons of the differences were explored through some measurement experiments and relative theories.Finally,the four factors were normalized by their JND,the image quality assessment experiments and the image quality assessement model were finished.The influencial weight of the four image attributes were analyzed.
