The generation of big data and the enhancement of machine intelligence have spawned the era of intelligence.Artificial intelligence is now widely applied in education,medical,industry,defense technology and other fields.At present,the research on artificial intelligence mainly focuses on the computer field.However,there are few researches aimed at the design method of artificial intelligence interface.Nowadays most interface design method focus on traditional interface.Although,there are some similarities between traditional interface and artificial intelligence interface,there are great differences in interface design methods.This paper proposes a visual interface design method under artificial intelligence,which makes up the gap of research on artificial intelligence interface design in the field of human-computer interaction.This paper combines theoretical research with case analysis to provide method guidance for artificial intelligence interface design.The main contents are listed as follow:(1)Researching on information characteristics,interface characteristics,human-computer interaction and user behavior requirements under artificial intelligence.Under the guideline of "user-centered design",this paper makes an in-depth study of the visual interface under artificial intelligence based on cognitive theories such as user cognitive process,cognitive characteristics,cognitive load,and mental model.(2)Analyzing the differences between artificial intelligence interfaces and traditional interface in user demand mining depth,user operation process,interface layout and interface elements.Based on the cases of existing artificial intelligence visualization interface,providing an in-depth analysis of user behavior.(3)Puting forward the design strategy of visual interface under artificial intelligence,including:(a)Design strategy based on user potential demand;(b)Design strategy based on user operation process optimization(constructing information architecture patterns from whole to part,assisting users to diagnose and recover from errors,automating user repetitive work,shortening user operation path);(c)Design strategy based on AI predictive information markedness model(text,icon,division line);(d)Design strategy based on AI predictive information feedback(representing degree/cause and presentation results).(4)Appling the theory of interface design method under artificial intelligence to the supermarket shopping system.Based on the user potential demand analysis and information architecture construction in the supermarket shopping scene,completing the design of the supermarket APP and interactive prototype.
