With the rapid development of modern measurement technology,measurement instruments are constantly being updated.Vector network analyzers,as one of the important tools in the field of radio frequency and microwave measurement,are indispensable modern electronic measurement equipment in the field of measurement instruments.The main content of the thesis is the design of the underlying software of the vector network analyzers based on the embedded Linux.Through the completion of the embedded vector network analyzers image display system design,as well as the design of the software and hardware communication module driver of the vector network analyzers,the parameter control and data exchange of the hardware platform of the vector network analyzers,the 12 terms error calibration and analysis processing of the measurement data are realized.Firstly,according to the design requirements of the underlying software of the embedded Linux vector network analyzers,the paper gives the overall design scheme,and then introduces the specific implementation process of each part in detail.The main work and research results are summarized as follows:1.Realize the image display system of the embedded vector network analyzers.Through comparing X11 window system with Wayland window system,the design of image display system is completed by using X11 window system on the embedded vector network analyzers system.In view of the refresh demand of measurement graphic display,the hardware acceleration configuration of Mali GPU image display is completed,realizes the smooth display of vector network analyzers test image,and achieves the expected goal.2.Realize the software and hardware communication module driver of embedded vector network analyzers.The data structure and data communication protocol of vector network analyzers are designed for vector network analyzers.Furthermore,the underlying driver of command parameter distribution of vector network analyzers is designed based on BRAM memory to realize the flexible operation of instrument software to hardware platform.Based on DMA technology,the underlying driver of DMA transmission of vector network analyzers measurement data is designed to realize the measurement of vector network analyzers high speed transmission of data.3.According to the 12 terms error calibration models,based on the SLOT(ShortOpen-Load-Thru)calibration technology,a dual port full S parameter measurement data calibration module is designed in the underlying software.Through the measurement of the standard calibration parts,the full S parameter calibration of the dual port vector network analyzers is realized.Aiming at the high complexity of the data calibration algorithm,the multi-process and multi-thread operation of the vector network analyzers software is designed.This paper has completed the design of the underlying software of the vector network analyzer based on embedded Linux,and completed the debugging and verification on the corresponding hardware platform.Its embedded Linux system runs well and realizes the communication between software and hardware,and achieves the expected results of the underlying software design of vector network analyzer in embedded Linux.
