According to the characteristics of long delay,narrow bandwidth and high conflict of underwater acoustic channel,the MAC protocol of underwater acoustic communication network is studied.According to the characteristics and research challenges of underwater acoustic communication network,the MAC protocol is classified according to competition and non-competition and whether there is reservation mechanism.The applicability of its underwater acoustic network is analyzed.According to the underwater acoustic communication network architecture,the underwater acoustic nodes are hierarchically modeled on the OPNET platform.The physical layer and data link layer model of the underwater acoustic communication network nodes are established,which is used to simulate the MAC layer protocol.Single-hop topology of underwater acoustic communication network.The paper discusses the ALOHA protocol of synchronous and non-synchronous underwater acoustic communication networks,and uses the throughput model of ALOHA protocol in wireless communication to analyze the throughput of ALOHA protocol in underwater acoustic communication.The position-dependent propagation delay is studied for ALOHA.The impact of protocol performance is solved by aligning data frames at the receiving end to solve the spatiotemporal uncertainty,and adding random backoff to reduce collisions.The OPNET simulation proves that the improved UWS-ALOHA protocol can effectively improve throughput and reduce packet loss rate.The paper studies the MACA protocol and MACAW protocol of underwater acoustic communication network,and carries on the simulation analysis on OPNET.In order to improve the network throughput,the control frame,timer and backoff algorithm of MACAW protocol are researched and improved accordingly.According to the probability model The throughput of the improved protocol HT-MACAW is theoretically analyzed.The OPNET simulation proves that the throughput of the HT-MACAW protocol is significantly improved when the load increases.According to the characteristics of the underwater acoustic channel,the virtual underwater acoustic channel is realized by the wireless transceiver module,and the channel acoustic conflict model of the underwater acoustic communication network is established on the simulation platform.Together with the actual underwater acoustic communication node,the semi-physical simulation system of the underwater acoustic communication network is constructed and simulated.The MAC protocol is simulated and analyzed on the system.
