With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,various wireless communication methods play an increasingly important role in our life.Since communication methods often follow different standards,research and development of different communication systems often require specific circuits,which greatly increases research and development costs and cycles.Software defined radio technology can solve this problem better.It can change the relevant characteristics of hardware circuit through software programming,making the hardware circuit more flexible and open,and can be applied to many communication modes.A broadband software defined radio platform based on general-purpose computer is designed combined with the application requirements.The main work of this thesis is:1.A solution for a software radio platform based on a general-purpose computer is proposed.Combining application requirements and technical indicators,and analyzing the research background and development of software defined radio platform,the architecture scheme of software defined radio platform is proposed firstly.The architecture includes RF-and-digital hybrid circuit module based on RF transceiver chip AD9364 and FPGA,and software program used to realize baseband signal communication with general-purpose computer.2.The schematic and layout design of the RF-and-digital hybrid circuit module are designed.The RF-and-digital circuit module includes an AD9364 chip for translating radio frequency and digital signals,an FPGA for controlling data stream transmission of baseband signal,and a USB 3.0 interface for realizing communication with a general-purpose computer,thereby realizing conversion and transmission of baseband signals and radio frequency signals.During the layout design,the problem of crosstalk shielding,matching is solved.3.The underlying software and upper layer software of the software radio platform are designed.The initial configuration of the transceiver chip and transmission of the baseband signal on the receiving and transmitting links between the digital interface and the upper computer are realized,and the upper computer can performs related processing on the baseband signal.At the same time,the host computer can issue a control command to adjust parameters such as the transmitted or received frequency of the RF circuit in a wide frequency band.4.The debugging and testing of the entire platform are completed.The measured technical indicators meets the requirements.The entire platform works normally and functioned well.The software defined radio platform developed in this thesis can realize wide-band RF transceiving through software configuration,and is equipped with a digital baseband system to upload and transmit the baseband signals between the upper and lower machines.The platform can be used in the research and application of multi-band wireless communication systems.
