As an important wireless communication technology,software defined radio,which has better universality and flexibility,aims at using software programming to realize various kinds of wireless communication algorithms,such as modulation and demodulation,channel encoding and decoding and so on.Using the universal software radio peripheral(USRP),a wireless communication system adopting a Turbo code,a binary low-density parity-check(LDPC)code or a non-binary LDPC code as the channel coding scheme is implemented.Furthermore,an embedded wireless data transmission system based on USRP E110 is built for portable applications.In order to verify the performance of different channel coding schemes in the wireless transmission environment,a wireless communication system using a Turbo code,a binary LDPC code or a non-binary LDPC code over GF(64)is implemented based on the USRP.The modulation scheme of the system is 8 Phase Shift Keying,and the channel noise variance is estimated for soft-decision decoding.Simulation and test results show that,actual test results of the decoding performance of these three kinds of channel coding schemes are consistent with the simulation results,which verify the correctness of the system,at the same time,non-binary LDPC codes have the best error-correcting performance,which can ensure the reliability of data transmission.Furthermore,due to the poor portability and power consumption of the USRP,an embedded communication system based on USRP E110 is implemented.The system adopts binary phase shift keying as the modulation scheme,uses CRC calibration to check the correctness of data transmission.The test results show that,the system can transmit and receive data using various parameters such as RF frequency,transmitted power and so on.
