With the development of the communications industry, people's demands for communications coverage, communications in harsh environments, and military communications are also increasing.Satellite communication has become an indispensable means of communication in many scenes, such as remote area communication, emergency communication, radio and television broadcasting.Due to the characteristics of high-speed mobility, frequent link switching and dynamic topology changes, the traditional ground network routing technology can not be directly applied to satellite network. Therefore, routing technology in satellite network has become a research hotspot at home and abroad. In this paper, the basic routing protocol and ondemand routing protocol used in satellite network are simulated and analyzed under the background of the integrated network of the sky and the earth, which provides a certain data reference for the large-scale networking, actual deployment and testing after the satellite launch. The specific work is as follows:First of all, this paper introduces the background of the development of satellite communication and the research status of satellite network routing technology. At the same time,it introduces the basic routing protocol and on-demand routing protocol applied to the integration of the sky and earth network. This paper analyzes the content and requirements of the above two protocols, and carries out simulation design of the two routing protocols, respectively designing the overall architecture and functional modules of the two routing mechanisms, and elaborating the basic principles of each module.Among them, for the basic routing protocol, this paper studies the topology calculation, route calculation and route update modules. In addition, for the on-demand routing protocol, this paper designs the entire protocol implementation process according to its needs, including on-demand business flow judgment, optimal path selection, and path import docking.Secondly, after the above simulation design is completed, based on the comparison and analysis of this article, the NS2 simulation platform is selected to implement the code of each functional module of the two routing protocols.Among them, for the basic routing protocol, this article combines the original routing mechanism of the NS2 simulation platform and implements it through the configuration of several script files. In addition, for the on-demand routing protocol, this paper implements the on-demand business flow judgment module, optimal path selection module, and path import docking module according to the simulation design part.At the same time, this article also introduces some key classes, functions, and important codes used in the implementation process. Finally, this paper builds NS2 simulation environment, configures the corresponding environment, designs the test network topology, simulates the situation of the uneven distribution of the global user traffic demand, configures several business data flows according to the different traffic demand in different regions, and conducts the simulation test of the two routing protocols. In addition, this paper takes the number of on-demand traffic in all simulated traffic flows as variables, compares the performance of the simulation results of the basic routing protocol and on-demand routing protocol, and analyzes and compares the packet loss rate, transmission delay and throughput respectively.Through the comparison of these aspects, the results show that the ondemand routing protocol can provide users with higher quality services than the basic routing protocol.
