Since 1997,the Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN)based on the IEEE 802.11 standard has experienced more than 20 years of development.At present,WLAN is showing a trend of intensive deployment,making efficient use of spectrum resources and improving channel usage efficiency become a challenging problem that needs to be solved urgently.In densely-deployed WLANs,communication interference between Basic Service Sets(BSS)has seriously affected the efficiency of channel usage.Therefore,WLAN urgently needs interference mitigation strategies to improve the efficiency of channel use and even the throughput of the entire network.This article studies this.The main work and innovations of this article are as follows:1.In view of the densely-deployed WLAN environment,considering the station(STA)location information,scheme CAT(Coordination Alternating Target Wake Time)is proposed.The CAT solution is for WLAN applications with multiple access points(AP)configured with a Wireless LAN Controller(WLC),based on the upcoming IEEE 802.11 ax standard,using the Target Wake Time(TWT)of 802.11 ax mechanism,improve the basic service set color information field in the MAC frame,use the basic service set color mechanism to divide the STA into different sets,thereby reducing the interference between BSS.Simulation results show that the CAT scheme can improve the throughput of the network.2.Aiming at the multi-BSS dense environment of next-generation WLAN applications,a multiple basic service set interference mitigation scheme based on distance selection is proposed.The scheme first diversity the access points in the overlapping BSS,and then use the TWT mechanism to schedule the STA's transmission.The results show that the scheme can improve the network throughput in the scenario of multiple basic service sets.In short,the above solution can alleviate the interference between BSSs and improve the channel utilization efficiency and network throughput of densely deployed WLANs.
