Unlike conventional fixed weather monitoring radar,vehicle-borne radar is often widely used in disaster relief and rescue or major national meteorological support and other special fields because of its strong mobility and flexibility.It is a powerful complement to conventional monitoring methods.China has complex and various natural environment with a vast territory.It is difficult to carry out conventional meteorological monitoring methods in some areas,which not only brings inconvenience to the daily life of local residents,but also greatly improves the difficulty of rescue and disaster relief.Consequently,it is extremely urgent to promote the monitoring method with accurate and effective results and diversified means.Mobile vehicle-borne weather radar can be installed and erected quickly and conveniently.It has strong adaptability to different natural environments.It can be flexibly installed in the vicinity of the target area for short-term meteorological monitoring in emergency rescue.It can also provide rapid and effective early warning for subsequent meteorological disasters,which greatly reduces the cost of monitoring and greatly improves the monitoring efficiency.Starting from the actual needs of the project,combined with the relevant experience of vehicle-borne weather radar at home and abroad,this paper studies the C-band dual-linear polarization Doppler vehicle-borne weather radar.Firstly,the overall structure design is carried out.Based on the analysis of the composition of the vehicle-borne weather radar system,the selection of radar-borne vehicles and other module design are completed,and the erection maneuverability is analyzed.On this basis,the forehead structure design of vehicle leveling system is completed and the mathematical model of leveling process is established.The force model of outriggers in leveling process is analyzed,and the platform centroid distribution range without virtual leg phenomenon is obtained.Then,starting from the lighter antenna quality of this project,the traditional arm-type hydraulic lifting mechanism is simplified to improve the maneuverability of vehicle-borne radar.Then the antenna servo system of vehicle-borne radar is designed in detail,including antenna pedestal,azimuth/pitch transmission mechanism,weather radar antenna and so on.Finally,to verify the rationality of the structure design in this paper,considering the influence of wind load on the vehicle-mounted radar,the average wind and pulsating wind are analyzed and calculated.And the finite element analysis of wind load on the antenna structure is carried out with ANSYS software.In this paper,a C-band dual-linear polarization Doppler weather radar is designed,which has compact structure and high mobility.All the indexes meet the design requirements.It also lays a certain technical foundation and reference significance for the follow-up research of vehicle-borne radar.
